Suite Prints Exhibition - Christopher Art Gallery

I am honored to have been selected for the juried show, "Suite Prints," an exhibition celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Chicago Printmakers Collaborative at the Prairie State College Art Gallery.

The Christopher Gallery is on the campus of Prairie State College.

25 Years of the Chicago Printmakers Collaborative

Chicago Printmakers Collaborative will be celebrating its 25th year milestone starting in September and we’re marking it with an exhibition of 50 artists who have either made prints at the workshop, been a visiting artist, or have consistently shown work in the CPC gallery.

The show will be at Expo 72 (across the street from the Cultural Center and sponsored by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events - DCASE), opening Friday, November 14th, 2014, and running through March 1, 2015.

Spring 2014 New Work

The last few months have been devoted to new etchings of Chicago that are shown below and represent two views of the skyline at Oak Street and Michigan Avenue. 

One depicts the Gold Coast with the Drake Hotel, the Hancock building and the 1000 North Lake Shore Drive building. This 6" x 8" aquatint etching honors the 50th Anniversary of the 1000 Lake Shore Association and is plate number 140.
The second etching is another view of the Gold Coast location at Oak Street and Michigan Avenue and is my plate no. 139 measuring 4" x 3".
