March 2022 Welcome to my 2022 Blog!

Chicago Major League Baseball has the greenlight to begin Spring Training at their March camps.  Playing will begin in early April for the White Sox and Cubs.

I have been active these last nine months at the Chicago Printmakers Collaborative and at home with pen and ink and watercolors, preparing new work, some of which I will share with you.

These two etchings represent the little known park on the Chicago River at 444 West Lake Street.  The River Point Park contains the recent contribution of the art of Santiago Calatrava.

Santiago Calatrava (born in 1951) is a Spanish architect, structural engineer, sculptor and painter.

The sculpture Constellation 2019-2020 is in River Point Park on the river at 444 West Lake Street.

Major League Baseball will start in April and the full season of 162 games will contribute to the nation's major pass time.

Four of my watercolored Evanston scenes are:  Hecky's, Mustard's Diner on Central Street, the Alice Millar Chapel on Sheridan Rd and Chicago Avenue, The Grosse Point Lighthouse on Sheridan Rd.
