                                   My Latest Etching of Chicago

The famous Chicago contemporary art museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, was established in 1967 in the Streeterville area of Chicago.   Thousands of modern art artifacts world wide were accumulated by collectors. These represented the period following the 1940's and World War II.

In 1991, prominent Chicago businessmen initiated a plan for a new museum and by 1996 the current building on Chicago Avenue became a reality.  The architect chosen was Josef Paul Kleihues.

The view of buildings at 159 North Dearborn remind me of a bygone era in Chicago.  This view is from the second floor of our famous Goodman Theater.
